Several quarrels revolve around Oliver, including ones with Clark, between Clark and Lois about Oliver, and a fight with both a scientist and Lex.

He was suspected of murdering Dr. Pamela Black, but it was revealed to be a halfway house kid who was doped up on the same drug Oliver was using to heal himself, so he was cleared.

The surprising revelation was that Lana was pregnant (or not, as we later discovered).

The awkward moment came from Lionel trying to kiss Martha when she obviously was not yet ready to take that step yet.
