I don't think so. She seems to have two separate abilities:

An empathic healing ability, where she can take upon herself the injuries of others which are then healed by her innate healing factor
A healing factor, which is only activated when she heals others OR when she dies. She doesn't appear to have the ability to heal her own injuries. When she got beat up by the DDS in Sleeper, she still had cuts and bruises when Jimmy took her back to the Talon apartment.

Given this, I don't think she's immortal. That's too bad, because as someone pointed out - if she were, then Chlark could be around for all eternity! Can you imagine how many times they'd try to go out, and then decide to just be friends again?

Seriously though, I don't think she's immortal. Do you?

I hink she's immortal. She just doesn't know her own capability yet. I mean she was able to weaken Brainiac she is pretty powerful. And the fact that she can come back to life after dying makes her immortal in my book.

I think there are some gray areas with this.

All the times she's "died", it was because she healed another person. Now, in the sense that she came back to life after being dead for hours on end would make one think she was immortal.

However, nothing has been physically done to her specifically, frex, being mortally wounded that I can think of, that she's come back from. So we haven't seen if she could recover from her own mortal wounds if that situation came about.

Brainiac didn't kill her, he did to her what he did to Lana, and Lana didn't die either, and she was without meteor power.

Thus, I'm not totally convinced, and won't be until I see Chloe come back from mortal wounds sustained directly to her.

That's a great point! I agree, her ability to come back from the dead has not really been tested.

I wonder if Chloe was in constant pain like Lana supposedly was. If so, neither of them really appeared to have many residual effects of that! If it was me, I would be in a fetal position for a week, feeling sorry for myself...

I think she is immortal. Remember Curtis Knox reaction to her. Plus, even "empaths" have limits, when an empath heals you, they typically take on your injury but the line is drawn at death because you can't take on death. Chloe can " cure" death and survive.
