Is the north pole seriously warm enough that Chloe and Lex and whoever else has been to the FOS doesn't need to wear more than a basic coat? 1 episode I recall Chloe shivering then lex had her in that hospital. If she was in that serious shivering fit, how did lex just walk on in like life is grand? His ears weren't even red. I need continuity.

Maybe Lex was wearing the patented LuthorCorp super hot thermal underwear.

I think the glowing purple orb disabled the Jor-El AI from doing anything to him, hence the glowing crystal "comand center".

I'm not saying anything about Jor El, I'm talking about probably a half mile (you couldn't very well land the plane right next to the fortress and it wasn't shown in the blown up shot) walk from the plane to the fortress.
okay. so research says temperatures don't rise above freezing but get as low as -50 F. So assuming it is July... 32 F... MR still should've looked cold.

fair enough. it's just been one of the problems that has constantly bothered me throughout the series and to see it happen, worst of all (MR looked down right warm) in this episode, kills me.

omgsh this is funny,
people are now complaining about the temperature/weather issues,
I see that it is very important and this must be attended to,
do people really know how hard it is to create a T.V show, there is NO WAY the producers are gonna give a dam about the temperature and how characters should be cold in these places, why arent they wearing a jacket,
do all smallville fans just complain ???

This isn't even a filming issue... you put a big fluffy coat, hat, and gloves on your character and cover your bases. There's no issue in having characters prepared for the environment they're going into. Lana goes to Paris, she puts on a beret; she goes to Japan, she wears a komono; lex goes to the north pole and packs a... trench coat? What? I don't know about you but if I knew I were headed to the north pole and I were a millionaire, and I knew 2 teams before me got lost... I'd wear a Coat.
