I'd be ready to let it go by an 8th season. I was almost ready to say bye-bye
this season, then the plots got better and I actually started to like Kara more.

I say they've already been pushing it for years. Season 8 needs to be the last, any more would make me give up and quit watching (unless it had Clark as Superman in costume).

If they did an E true Hollywood story on SV. I'd bet EVERYONE would say they pushed it too far, and let the show get watered down. Lex leaving is a BIG Jump the Shark moment..

I'm already expecting season 8 to be the last. If it continues, I'll be very happy, but if it doesn't I am already mentally prepared to say good-bye. I'm keeping an open mind, and no matter what, with an ending like Arctic's I am certain the season 8 premiere will be amazing.

They need to just do the GA spinoff already! They should start it up next season and get two of the comic's former writers to pen a script for it.

And Smallville has to end next season or else EVERYONE by then should know its just a joke now.
