When Jimmy lied about the oil drilling, Lois vas very skeptical. At the end she kinda looked at him funny but took the photos. So, did she believe his story at the end, or was she still skeptical? I kinda don't think she bought it.

I don't think she bought it either. I think that she just said yes to make him leave. The apology was probably genuine, but I still think that she had her doubts about the story.

I don't think she bought it either, this is the girl that meddles in everything and is hard headed and smart...I think she was just playing along. Jimmy couldn't lie if his life depended on it lol!

She bought it hook, line, and sinker, she will just deny doing so when someone tells her the truth.

I don't think she believed him. Those oil wells in the picture were in the north. Could lead to Clark's rescue in the future. Just a thought.

I think she was very skeptical at first, but then when he complimented her, by explaining he got the files by doing just what she taught him, then she truly believed him and even seemed quite impressed with him.

True! But I think you're giving her more credit than she warrants. If you recall everyone thought for sure she was onto Grant too, and that proved to be inaccurate as well. :\

I don't think she bought it. She let the whole thing slide too easily in my opinion. Plus Jimmy can't lie if his life depended on it, he's terrible at it!

But isn't that totally in character for her?

She didn't buy it. She was looking at him sadly because she knew there was a reason Lex had him attempting to do what he was doing.

Yeah, Clark would need rescueing. The sphere seemed to depower him when the FOS was falling apart.

Doesn't Clark always need rescueing? Sigh

I think she did bought it and she didn't. I think part of her wanted to believe him, but she may still have some doubts at the back of her mind.

that is why the scene worked for me, jimmy is such a bad liar with such great pictures, lois knew that lex gave him the pictures and probably forced Jimmy to do it . lois knows jimmy is too innocent to be a bad guy

That's exactly what I thought. Even if she did sort of believe him in the end, I think she will go and try to find out where those pics came from and she'll figure it out.

I don't think that she did. She's Lois Lane, ace reporter.

I don't think she bought it, the pictures were just a little too convenient. I think she wanted to believe Jimmy, but really didn't take it to heart.

She apologized for doubting him... she believed him...
But I think given Chloe got arrested anyway Jimmy is going to come clean to Lois next season... maybe they should do the first episode with the two of them somehow saving the day with their collective knowledge of what is happening... that would be a fun episode.

As the old adage states, "Trust but Verify".
She doubted the pictures, but (IMO) she also may have thought Jimmy may have been setup to give her the pictures because it was too "Convenient" to have them laying around if they were that important.

I don't think she bought it. Her apology for doubting him, I think, was more for her to sort of step back and think that maybe he was in over his head and she should just go it alone. Might have been a sort of 'cut the strings' so she could go on with her investigation alone and not have to put Jimmy in a place where he may not be able to handle it.
But I also think that he will tell Lois that it was a set up.

i don't think its a matter now that lois does not trust jimmy, lois knows that if jimmy got those pictures someone close to lex or lex himself is pushing the buttons.
this is not the end of the working adventures of lois and jimmy
