Tom Welling has really progressed as an actor throughout his stint on SV and the fact that he made me cry because he was so heartbroken . . . man. I cried because of Lois in Siren and again here because of Clark.

Which fits since those two characters came full circle here, Lois supporting Clark because he lost the love of his life (up to that point in his life at least), after Clark was there for Lois after she lost the love of her life (up to that point in her life at least)

It was very nice, and the music helped. I'm not a fan of the soft stuff but it works for heartbreaking scenes. I felt so badly for Clark, not a Clana fan either, but I also felt a little bad for Lana, because like Lois she felt she had to do something that broke her heart. Though I admit to sympathizing with Lois more. KK did a good job considering all she had to act w/ was herself and a camera.

Clana seems like it is never over for good, and with KK possibly returing for some episodes next season it might not be over now, but it feels over. Anyway, I liked the scene, very sad, but sweet with the Clois hug . . . she was even rocking him back and forth . . . awwww:o

She has to come back for a few eps next season to end Clana properly. TPTB have invested most of the 7 seasons devoted to Clana. To have it end by videotape is pathetic. While I agree Clana should be history it should get a proper sendoff.

She sent Whitney a videotape breakup while he was fighting for their country. (I say their, not ours, because it's fictitious.)

I hope hope hope they don't string it along and, like I said, hopefully when they do the summer time jump, Lois and Chloe will have helped Clark get over her whiiny behind.

I would have liked it to end ina different way. Although it was an emotional moment; a goodbye in person would have made a better impact. Seven years of pining over each other is over. Now if only we can get Clark to wear the superman suit so Lois can get in the picture.

awww cheer up butter-cup!! It'll be short-lived for all of those who are fed up with Clana...but for those of us who LOVE Clana, I'm hoping it will be very sweet (short and sweet) I'm sry, SV wouldn't be SV without CLANA IMO!!

I know ppl have said it but this is not the first time that Lana made a video letter to break up with someone. We all remember when she sent Whitney a video tape breaking up with him at the start of season two.

I am glad that it is over watching Clana scenes is like pulling teeth out for me. Even in season seven it was like looking at a car wreck. Everyone knew that this relationship was going to end AGAIN. I just didn't think I would feel sorry for Clark when it did.

I also started watching the show because of Clana. At first, I decided to watch the show because I love Superman shows, especially Lois and Clark. But what made me continue to watch was the whole Clark and Lana dynamic. So, I do root for Clana here and there, but it did lose its initial spark.

Agreed!!! Also, they got rid of Pete's character to free up that line of the budget to pay an actress to play Lois. I still miss Pete's character. He was sooo underutilized and Sam Jones III is such a talented actor. If they were going to keep the Lana thing going so long they should have kept Pete and delayed the introduction of Lois.

I'm so happy Clana is history and I hope it stays that way in season 8.
For 7 long season we (the ones who don't like Clana) had to watch the same scenario over and over again: Clark dreaming about Lana, Lana making the sweet puppy dog (puppy eyes included) but not paying attention to his feelings, Lana finally deciding to give him some hope by smiling even more like a poor sick puppy and maybe giving him a kiss once in a while, Clark saving her every 5 seconds because she was always knocked out (Lois at least tries to fight agains the villain), Lana asking a lot of questions about how she was saved, Clark and Lana together, Lana searching the truth (but lying everytime the opportunity was given), Lana going away (in the arms of Jason/Lex/some meteor freak)... and it all starts again.

Not to mention KK had the same acting for all the seasons. I hate how she does that thing with her mouth and eyes and how ... just look at this video http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=kPUZBAGT28w&feature=related (I actually typed and watched more than 1 minute of Lana/Clana, oh now I need 10 hours of Clois).

I can not STAND the "Clana" relationship, however I still cry like a freaking baby every time I see that goodbye video! The emotions both Tom and Kristin showed were so real! Amazing scene :)
