Anyone else glad to see the writers for this episode?

Don Whitehead & Holly Henderson

They both wrote Descent, which was an absolutely fantastic episode. They also wrote Traveler and Lara which were good too.

This looks set to be a very good finale. I would have been very depressed had I seen Caroline Dries (wrote Sleeper) or someone equally bad writing for this episode. Mind you Dries did write Action which wasn't too bad... except for the fact that she had Clark throw the red cape mindlessly over a fence and walk back into the house to bake an Apple Pie with Lana... oh wait, maybe that episode was poor too.

Anyway, things look to be good for this one. :) Anyone else share the same optimism because of this?

Of course I am sharing the same optimism & confidence that this will be the best episode of Smallville, TO DATE!

And don't forget - Todd Slavkin, whom directed last year's finale "PHANTOM" as well as "COMMENCEMENT" is also directing Arctic - which is bound to be one for the history books! :)

I also don't know how much of this episode was filmed by the time AlMiles had left... and how much the producers (new ones or AlMiles) can have an effect when it comes to the overall story. I'm guessing quite a lot, so the writers, though obviously excellent, will be restricted. Hopefully not too much though.

Either way, I'm excited.
