Battling a severe bought of depression from being turned down as lassie for the movie "lassie... still not ready to be put to sleep" , rejected as toto for a tornado safety special, runner up in a scooby doo look alike contest, and "did not look the part" for a role as astro for a jetsons familiy reunion special. this is finally his big break.

One of these days I'd like to see an episode in which Shelby has a voice-over. They did this a bunch of times with the dog on "Married With Children". It would be interesting to get the pooch's perspective on the BDA, Clana, etc.
