I think all the SFX were amazing. I saw no flaws in any of them. And the supposed expense of CK flying is questionable. Kara flew as a blur which is appropriate. How is that any more expensive than blurring CK dashing in and out of places?

I loved Kara's(Braniac) flying away scene and she kicks Clark in the face...lol that was a special effect for me...I was like final some sense kicked into Clark...:rotfl:

I think when Clark super punched Brainiac well he was trying to recharge was cool.

I noticed that, too. :lol:

Actually I didn't like the special effects of the FOS being destroyed. They looked too much computer generated. The creation of the FOS in "Arrival" was done way better.

Sorry, the entire airplane bit sucked. Compare that to how the Lex's jet looked in "Crusade", the SFX slid down hill on that. The FOS stuff sucked as well. Brainiac's demise was awesome. For some reason, the fly has sucked this season, as well as the season five finale with Zod. They've failed, IMO, to capture the look they gave Clark in "Crusade", which was really well down. It may just be the "one arm" up in the air thing that just looks ridiculous.

One of my favorite scenes was when Clark was super-hearing the audio from the black box to filter out components, loved the visual effects they chose to represent sounds Clark was hearing and his superhuman ability to pick out whatever he wanted to focus on. It was as if he was co-existing with the sounds in a godlike way or something. Very cool.

MONEY has nothing to do with special effects, my friend. You can great great ones with even flash, all u need is talent and creativity. But since they have money i suggest they get Particle Illusion, great smoke effetcs, unlike the plane. I saw that scene and i actually thought i recorded over it by mistake, it looked horrible.
