Controlling Clark

I don't think that it is Clark's mind that can be controlled. Maybe the orb can control Jor-el's AI in the fortress. Jor-el has the power to hurt Clark, brand him, freeze him and so forth. Maybe Lex would control this and with enough abuse caves to Lex, who knows. Although I doubt Clark would cave to abuse, seems he'd rather die than to give in to Lex. So for me, this whole controlling thing seems off, like they haven't seen it through. Not to mention that even if Lex could control Jor-el's AI, he wouldn't have a clue how to or what it was capable of.

Very interesting. I wonder exactly how Lex would be able to control Clark. I agree with you that it probably has to do with the fortress. Within the fortress is something which can control Clark.

Though the idea of Clark under Lex' control... it would be interesting to see Tom Welling play that.

I would think that Clark under Lex's control would be similar to Clark being more like Bizarro. ...Except, he would get his Prompting and ideas from Lex.

Surely, you're only being Sarcastic, or maybe this is your particular brand of Humor?:p You HAVE noticed that Lois and Lana have Completely Different personalities, right? There is No Way whatever the relationship Clark and Lois will have next season will remotely resemble the 'Clana', as you put it. The way Clark & Lois read each other places their already established relationship in a whole 'other' catagory. That's why the love they Will share became an "ICONIC" Love/Relationship.

So what you're saying is it would control Clark by blackmailing him through the abuse of the Jor-El AI. Interesting, but it's been done before (like in Covenant when Jor-El forced Clark to enter the cave wall or else he would kill JK).

Or Lex could use Jor-el's AI to freeze Clark and then Lex would have complete freedom to do whatever he wanted and no Clark to stop him. Everything Lex's fails at is because of Clark.

An episode of Clark under Lex's control would be entertaining and for Jor-El at the end to give Lex a mindwipe would be funny. A dream sequence or something...

In the end nothing like this happened. I wonder if they will reveal what "controlling the traveler" meant.
