Did anyone else laugh at the irony of Ed Teague putting the krptonite orb in Clark's face to incapacitate him whilst at the same time telling Clark that it shouldn't be allowed for people to control Clark?
Just made a chuckle

Yes it was pretty ironic but it was obvious that the guy had lost all his marbles and was nothing more than a rabid religious zealot and lunatic and since when does such people make any sense?

he was a little crazy, but I thought it made perfect sense. clark wasnt going to stop lex from getting the secret, and edward couldnt let that happen, do he tried to kill clark in the hope that there would be no-one to control, a dead traveler is alot better than a traveler ruling the world,
you have to look at it from his perspective, his entire life of protecting clark, and clark doesnt even want to do anything,
he was a little nutty, but there was logic behind it.
once again, hes in arctic so well see what happens with him

Good. I'm glad he's in Arctic. We need some closure & more explanation to what he's all about. Because I think the guy's a nut. Just because Clark has been lax in the past in stopping Lex doesn't mean that he can't be motivated or talked to otherwise. Teague didn't even wait or try to reason with him before killing him. I don't think Swann would have trusted such a madman with any info on Clark or Krypton. I wouldn't be surprised if he's revealed as Swann's killer.

put it this way you and your friends devote your entire lives and probably some of your parent did too for someone you believe will rule the world and eliminate all evil and then they tell you they could care less that you risked your lifes and the lifes of coutless people you will go a little crazy too and try and keep them from going evil at any cost.

Yeah but Clark didn't ask for any of the Veritas group to worship him or protect him - they took that upon themselves believing he would be the saviour of the world. They can't blame Clark for failing to live up to their expectations they can only blame themselves for making the expectations in the first place.
Just struck me as pot calling kettle black using kryptonite to control Clark to prevent him from being controlled by someone else. He should have just let Clark try to resolve the problem himself afterall he does have superpowers and Lex is a mere human.
If Ed Teague hadn't been meddling Clark might have seen Lex getting the artifact from the clock and been able to swipe it off him.

Yup. Teague screwed everything up. Clark was up there for just that and Teague ruined it. I'm interested to see what Teague will do in Arctic. I know there's info that must still be revealed about him.

I think the entire teague family is a little off thier rockers. Gwenevier teague was a nut job and I swear that her and Jason had a weird edipus thing going on. Am I the only one who wonders if they were a little more than close *shudder* It was just so creepy. Not surprised the dad is a nutcase too.
I thought it was even more ironic that Ed was going on about believers and non belivers (in clark) yet didn't have enought faith in Clark that he would make the right descision.

I know AND you'd think that after worshipping the Traveller for so long Edward would be a bit slower on the decision to kill him when he finally met them.
It would be like Elvis coming back from the dead and his fans deciding to kill him 'cos he didn't want to perform anymore

Didn't Ed say that Lionel was the one who killed everyone else, minus Ed's family and Crosby?
