Jimmy the reporter?

Jimmy has been busy, it seems. Anyone else find him extremely annoying? Shouldn't Chloe already know all that crap he was spewing about the caves and such? And since when was Jimmy a reporter??? Hes smarter than Clark for crying out loud! (then again, anyone can be smarter than Clark :p)

I think Jimmy getting his first story is great! Why should Jimmy have to sit by just because Clark's not a reporter yet. Go Jimmy! :D
