I was very impressed by the continuity and writing in this episode...even if they had to retconn a couple things i'm glad they finally pieced some things together artistically and with well written scripts

Agreed! This was one of my favorites this season. It was so...filled with energy. Everyone involved was clearly enjoying themselves. The directing, the iconic shots, the twists in the writing, the emotional acting, the special effects...this was what a great "Smallville" episode is all about.

This definitely ranks up there with episodes like "Persona", "Veritas", "Traveler", and "Descent" as one of the best episodes of the season in my opinion.

In my opinion the only bad episodes of the season have been "Blue", "Hero", and "Sleeper".

It was one of the best this season thats for sure but i dont think it tops descent or Bizarro but it did a good job at getting the finale set up

If there was any more exposition in this episode, they could have just had the cast stand in a room and read from their scripts.
