Reference to Doomsday?

I know this sounds weird, but when Jimmy tells/shows Chloe the pic to the Kawatche Caves, and he says that one will be defeated or something like that, I thought of Doomsday. Since he was recently announced, it makes perfect sense. But I want your opinion.

yea i dont think it was a reference to doomsday it was more of the numan and sageeth the clark vs lex dynamic and all that.

it wasnt a reference to doomsday but i do think it was saying that no one knows who will win between luthor and Superman because there hasnt been a resolution yet in the comics. we all know about the legion of superheroes and how they follow after clarks example but who knows if lex killed him for that legend to live on and someone else killed lex. we dont know...i liked how that was factored into the show to be honest
