the traveler is someone/something that is COMING to try to rule the world, and clark is meant to STOP it..
LEX was NEVER the opposition to clark, it was what's coming.. lex just happened to "seem" to fill the bill
thats my 02. now im broke

No, the Traveler is Clark, and theres something in place to control Clark, the Traveler, if he ever seemed to be a threat to mankind. Since hes not, one will find this, and use it to control Clark, even though he dosent need controlling. Thats my 2 on it :D

Disgusting:eek:, Haven't you guys watched the show it's about the adventures of a Super Dog named Shelby who struggles through life's obstacles especially since he never gets fed by his evil owner Clark Kent...lol
Ok In all seriousness Clark is the Traveler I don't think there is any dual meaning...but who knows this is Smallville:D

Clark is the traveler... but perhaps the two headed monster in the cave refers to doomsday and superman?? just a thought... i mean... lex is his greatest enemy on earth... but doomsday is his greatest enemy in the universe right?? another double meaning!
