I think this episode is a bit too late. Clark has been acting like a 14 year old emo kid since season 4 ended. They keep toying with us with the possibility of Clark actually growing a pair and become Superman for so long it seems like he will never become a super hero. With the last couple of years with the long breaks between episodes and some very questionable storylines(ex. Jimmy Bond and episodes like Static) I think has soured Smallville very badly. Now Apocalypse was a very good episode but I feel like we have seen this all too much before, in a little series of movies and a television show called Terminator? Classic world destruction by nuclear missles caused by the influence of machines. One last bit of rambling before I am done, I don't think Krypton would be that close to their sun since it is always called a cold planet. And the sun would have gone supernova instead of it and Krypton just exploding in such lack luster performance. Anyways feel free to comment about any of this, I would much like to read some of your thoughts.
