Scene on Krypton:
Jor-El sends Clark back in time to send himself off, and Kara supposedly "kills" Brainiac. Then they are back on Earth.

This now means that Kara wasn't sent to Earth by her father Zor-El in the ship- thus changing/making null the opening scene of Lara, when that particular moment happens, right?

I agree!!
I think that there was a plot hole there but I figured that maybe zor-el sent Kara before the (new) battle and assumed that Jor-el already had sent baby kal to earth.
if this makes any sense, but I tend to block out all plot holes...

No, Zor-el just sent Kara from a different location on Krypton. Remember she was after him but on the same course and didn't have to even leave from the same town.
