I feel that Clark might finally have a full comprehension of just what it is his father wants him to do, and why he is so important to earth.
For a while he thought, especially back in the earlier seasons, that Jor-El wanted him to be some sort of Kryptonian warrior and "dominate" the earth. Now he sees that it wasn't that at all.
In that scene where Jor-El is talking to Clark, I didn't see anymore of that guardedness that Clark usually has when he's talking to Jor-El. I think that from now going forward, their relationship will maybe be a little better, and Clark will, when it's time, complete his training without hesitation.
