So if Jor-El and Lara didn't put Clark in the ship... then how would Clark's first memory (and first word) be of Lara? And if not, then maybe he wouldn't have shorted out the krypto-tank in "Memoria" with that specific memory?
Maybe Jorl-El and Lara did both put him in the ship, and then Brainiac killed them and took Clark out of the ship... still, it seems like at least some of the changes here might impact the timeline.
Also - if I were Brainiac, I'd share my knowledge of the future with the past Brainiac. That way when Brainiac 2.0 comes out of the Black Ship after the second meteor shower... he would know exactly how Clark foiled him last time, and could work around it.
I still don't understand how the Kara on Krypton was able to send Clark messages through Dr. Swann's journal... without impacting that timeline so that things happened differently. And even if she was able to send the message... how did Clark even remember the old reality?
I am just a simple man... not even a BDA... I just don't get how time travel works on the show. Kinda wish that Brainiac could stick his fingers in my head and explain it all to me...

So if Jor-El and Lara didn't put Clark in the ship...
Oh, but they did. Braniac removed Clark from the ship, that meant someone had to put him in it.
Even if Braniac killed Clark's parents, there was nothing more they needed to do. He will have their memory just as before, but he may remember Braniac and his future self as well. I think Clark smiled to the baby in reassurance.

Same way Jor-el sent messages.

There is only 1 Braniac entity who can divide himself, that doesn't mean he would forgot his previous attempts, as in no 2 attempts have been alike. He will simply keep trying to fulfill his objective. The Braniac of the past ended up in an asteriod. Past Braniac and present Braniac never intertwined in events.

Like I always say.."Oh those crazy writers". I was also wondering if they had changed the Jor-El and Lara putting Clark into the ship part then "Memoria" would be all wrong but it hurts my head to over think stuff like that..lol

its an alternate reality virtually everything that happened there may or may not have actually happened in the reality that clark lives in. Jor-el and Lara did put him in the ship and had their goodbyes in the current reality. In the alternate reality braniac could have killed them before or after they put clark in the ship or something completely different.
