Angel's boots??

I was watching S2 of Angel and noticed that when David B places his feet up in several episodes he's wearing a type of boot that has yellow soles.

Anyone know what kind of boots he's wearing?? I can't quite tell Because they're black and they blend with everything. It's not that important but I was just wondering as the yellow made me curious.

I want to think that they might be a pair of Caterpillar boots per the yellow but that would be to easy....
