So far this season I haven't felt all that impressed with Kara's character. It's not that I didn't like her but it just seemed that her part wasn't that important to the rest of the show. I'm still not sure if she is, but tonight's episode made me like Kara a lot more.

I don't know if Laura is just getting more comfortable in the roll or what, but I thought her acting was great tonight. I hope to see more of Kara than being more than just an angsty teenager.

Anyone elses opinion of the character shift tonight as well?

Yea her acting tonight was pretty good. She was good as semi evil in the AU world and good scene on krypton and in the kent farm kitchen i bet brainic before he was killed put a part of himself in her so he can come back once again.

I feel the same exact way. When the season started and I saw her in "Kara", I hated her for a while. After she straightened up a bit, I kinda liked her in "Blue". But then after the memory loss situation, she went back to my least favorite character this season. Now after this episode, I'm starting to like her more.

IMO, She seemed to take control of the situation nicely in the Fortress in "Apocalypse" instead of being all conceited and stuck-up like she was in "Fierce".

I also was not too fond of Kara but she's been growing on me and tonight's episode proved that she has a lot more to offer than what we have seen. And maybe it was just her getting into the role or maybe it was just a different director gave her more direction ;)

i had no problem with her because she basically was non-existent and didnt leave an impact but she is definitley starting to leave a mark on the show.

I agree, I thought to myself that her acting was much better in this episode.

I still don't like the character "Kara" nor do I like Laura V.'s acting, but in this episode she actually was not as meaningless as she was in all the episodes before. Her acting was slightly better, but I give that credit to Tom's directing. He must have been able to extract that little bit of better performance out of her.

Yea her acting tonight was pretty good. She was good as semi evil in the AU world and good scene on krypton ...I think you hit it on the head. I haven't been that impressed with LV's acting up to now. She is a bit forced and wooden for my liking (lacking the subtlety of TW, dominant presence of MR, cute charisma of AM, ballsiness of ED and the screen presence of the gorgeous KK). But I think she nailed it in this epi. Well done to her.

I can't say whether or not I liked this epp, but I gotta say I liked LV being back. The character twists lead down a dark path, but I'm still glad to see a favored character excell. Just give us a good strory and we'll follow you anywhere

i wonder what it was about the episode

i mean i totally agree, i was starting to really not like her, but she was pretty good!

i think it was refreshing to see Clark being the wise man and Kara having the hot head and wanting to change the past... that's the way it shud be IMO

I love every single moment of Kara/Laura, she does GREAT every episode so far, and I felt deeply in love w/ her the first second she sat on top of the roof. = HEART =

I didn't like Kara's appearance in SV and I still don't think that her character is needed at this point of CK's life, I prefer Clark handling things alone without any other superhelp, other such characters make him less unique IMO, but LV's acting was pretty cool in this epi :)
