So Brainiac killed Kal-El's parents on Krypton in the time portal?

Does it matter? They were gonna die anyway :p

In the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter but out of curiosity did the real Jor-El and Lara-El get murdered by this brainiac beign sent back in time, well its a good question...

i've got no answer.

Looks like the ship crashed. As if Brainiac hit the ship out of the air.

Damn thats a good fact maybe he did kill them and then get ready to kill baby Kal-El in the real timeline and it's Clark who saves himself. He sent himself to earth. What I always wanted to kno is, how the hell does Jorel get all this power??? I mean he can transport Clark to Krypton, alter time, show him "What If's". Damn he has way more powers than Superman as a dead guys voice.

Yea good question my guess is he did kill them or they already were killed by debris and what not.

That's what I was asking myself, he must of done something to them to get the baby, but I really hope he didn't killed them, even if they were meant to die later...it's too sad.

my guess? Brainiac going back in time altered reality. Clark had been receiving messages through the journal form Kara. That means she was there, and she had already changed some things that Clarrk had previously said were NOT in the journal. Brainic was trying to stop Jor-El's plan. So, he killed Kal-El's parents just befroe Krypton's end, and befroe they could send Kal-El on the little ship. When Calrk arrived he was in the process of Killing Kal-El. Clark saved himself and at least kept that part of reality the same. Kara's fate? That remains to be seen, I guess.

It seems to me too that an alternate reality was created. We sae Jor-El and Lara put baby Kal-El into the ship in a previous flashback, and now we see an adult Kal-El doing it instead.

So much for the memory Clark had of Lara speaking as they put him in the ship.

Unless you want to go with the theory that Jor-El and Lara had put Kal-El in the ship, left, and then BrainIAC came and took him out and was going to kill him. Then Clark arrives.

That's what I'm going to go with anyway, just so the very basis of the mythology and the revealing scenes from Memoria and Lara aren't completely ruined.
