Just wanted to point out something I feel a lot of people are missing about this week's episode. "Descent" (last week's ep) was a very serious episode (and in my view, the best episode ever to date) that majorly advanced the overall story arc.
Followed up by "Sleeper" this week, it's not that I'm surprised a lot of people didn't like it nearly as much as other episodes gone by - it's just that this episode was, to me, quite obviously meant for the large part as this season's "comic relief" and not one of the more serious eps in terms of storyline. The concept of "Jimmy Bond" was, I am certain, a one-time thing for a bit of a laugh. A couple of minutes were dedicated to advancing the Veritas and Brainiac storylines, but that's all.
If you didn't like it, fine - I just want you to remember I don't think most of this episode was meant to be taken seriously.
