I can't help but think that poor Lionel has been some what forgotten. One episode later after being killed at the hands of Lex and no-one is bothering to investigate anymore - unless that's what Lois was doing in offscreenville.

I guess Lex was right in saying no-one will even remember your name to Lionel.

And there was me thinking the season would end on Lex in jail for Lionel's murder!

Sorry, it just seems like they do this a lot. How long did it take everyone to forget Alicia? Or Jonathan?

I hope that Lois is investigating this off-screen, but I'm not holding my breath that we'll ever even hear Lionel's name again. It would just be par for the course, IMO. Or this could be my cynicism talking. ;)

yup, welcome to the crappy writing and lack of continuity that comes with a Smallville death

i mean i know Lex doesnt have a lot of hair, but i'm sure a CSI team would have found something... or noticed the fact that the glass was shot, and there was no gun around... maybe taken a look at the security footage, maybe figured something out from the way he landed that he didn't jump (trajectories or something :lol:)

either i don't remember what happened to Lucas, or he was forgotten before he was even killed off... and they are never bringing him back, they made that clear with the whole Julian thing

Lionel is dead. I won't be suprised if we never see anything or hear anything about him anymore. They have to move on beings there's only going 2 be one more season left. The same thing happened to Jonathan.. No one really talked about him afterwards.

Jonathan has not been forgotten at all IMO. He was mentioned in Oracle, Wrath, Descent, Fragile, Vengeance, Promise... and probably some others I can't think of right now.

Lucas and Julian did look alot alike. Too bad they never got to met. Strange How Lucas left. He was mention in season 6.

Ha ha ha ha exactly, last week he was all like "I won't let Lex get away with this", this week he's like "Lex had a father, who knew?"

I do hope somebody looks into Lionel's death a bit further. I was hoping investigating Lionel's death would be the beginning of Clark's interest in investigative journalism.

I honestly don't understand how Lex would not be a suspect. He was in the building and admitted to talking to Lionel not long before he died. Also the circumstances are suspicious like someone else said

- glass was smashed from a bullet not from Lionel falling through the glass
- there was no bullet wound on Lionel and no gun
- if Lionel had a gun why not just shoot himself if he wanted to commit suicide?
- who throws themself out of a window backwards? - wasn't the way he was lying suspicious?
