Ok where is the proof that the guy is a Veritas member or Edward Teague?

OK so the guy is not one of Lex henchmen, by the way what happened to Gina's voice mail? How it come Lex never heard it? The 2 things don''t add up so once again we are left with an annoying plothole. But anyway here is what we know. Lex knew all the Veritas members as a kid and he had never seen the guy that now everybody allegues is a Veritas survivor and none other than Edward Teague! So please explain if he is Teague how it come Lex had never seen him before and the guy in fact did not act like he had ever met Lex before and in fact after he was donw he said to Lex "You are not one of them!" Now one has to really wonder what he means by that I mean one of whom? Now I'm begining to think that Gina may not in fact had been human but an alien or something else that this hunter dispatched with that rare inhaler thing and he thought Lex might be the same only he wasn't. 2 things are for certain and that is he is neither a Veritas member nor is he Teague...

I think he is most likely a henchman of Veritas, kind of like the last line of defense to keep the Traveler safe, "You are not one of them" could either mean he is not part of Veritas, or he is not a Traveler, or another possibility is that there is a third party involved that the Luthor's did not know about that also has an interest in the Traveler.

If Edward's right people have been protecting it for centuries." That to me is pretty cut and dry, there were others before the "families" united. And like I said till we've seen it all we won't know the final out come....Sure logic and evidence may point one way, but this is tv get ready for the twists.

Now as far as what Patrica told Lionel that He is the last...Well I guess the writers will work their way out of that

Good luck to them with that! I would not want to be in their shoes, but you are probably right that is some third party that we still are to hear from. I vote for third party myself some other misterous group that no one has heard off yet that has been around long before the formation of the Veritas group. Perhaps the Nights Templar? Hey it's Smallville after all!:p

Well you are overlooking the possibility that he is from a group that precedes Veritas by centuries, in Veritas they did say that before Veritas was formed men had died protecting the secret that Veritas was then centuries latter protecting until Lionel threw the monkeywrench that is...
