Jimmy saves the day for once this season...the last time he saved the day was in Static when he brought back Lex and Lana from that static world.

The beginning scene was cute, it all went downhill from there.

So I know there are already some threads about this but.. Were there"how to be a covert spy in 10 minutes, guaranteed, or your money back" instructions in the briefcase that the Domestic Security lady gave Jimmy? That was cool, but totaly impossible and insane.:rotfl:

I LOVED him! I was like...woo Jimmy, he's hot...where did that come from? haha. ;) But towards the end....I have to say I was just left disappointed in him and Chloe. :(

I felt it was a fairly poor episode with little to recommend it and I have already erased it from my DVR.

I was surprised to see how smooth Jimmy was in the opening scene.
Very Bond-like. I also liked the cufflink scene.

how can he go from good ol' clumsy jimmy to "spy like" jimmy in the same eppy??
that takes years of "spy work" to be agile and jimmy acquire them in 10 min?
crazy

I thought Jimmy was pretty cool this episode, in his own Jimmy-like way.

But yeah, the Bond thing was actually pretty fun. Especially in his dance with Chloe. I really got a "This is a 007 movie" vibe in that scene.

To me, Jimmy seemed more Ron Stoppable than James Bond. During the mission, I kind of half expected his pants to get ripped off, exposing his polka-dotted boxers.:D

I thought the opening was fun and funny. I don't know if right after "Descent" was the time for such a light hearted episode though. It needed more balance.

Right now I hate the episode, Smallville and its writers.:p And I feel I saw enough of Jimmy and Chloe (impersonating Clark's brain) to last me a lifetime.
Turning into a hater with a startling speed, here.

Jimmy saves the day for once this season...the last time he saved the day was in Static when he brought back Lex and Lana from that static world.

LOL - some might say bringing Lex and Lana back wasn't so much saving as ruining the day

I really liked Jimmy as the spy. At the beginning I was really surprised to find out it was him. I thought maybe it might be Clark trying to get the keys from Lex - now I realise what a silly thought that was ha ha ha!

This is about the time in the season when Jimmy gets his own episode, about this time in Season 6 we had Noir - which everyone hated but I actually really enjoyed. I enjoyed this episode too, I didn't read any spoilers so it was quite entertaining watching it unfold.

LoL I love Ron Stoppable! He's a bit of a clutz too, but he's dependable. I can definitely see the parallel.

That was an entertaining opening definitely. The episode had some major problems with believability, but it was a fun episode to watch, and it was fun to watch Jimmy in this episode too. I guess that comes from being semi-interested in James Bond, and having a father who is a huge Bond fan.

It just goes to show there is more to Jimmy than meets the eye. He is actually responsible for quite a lot of journalistic revelations on the show, OK yeah sometimes he's way of course 'Lex is working with the Egyptians' but a lot of time he is right on the money. He ought to be given a lot more credit.

I mean who was it that noticed Lionel's last moments had been caught on camera? who was it trailing Green Arrow trying to get pics? who was it that figured out what was going on in Noir? He's quite a smart character although a bit goofy. I think the agent thing was him taking the opportunity to live out his 007 dream so he was TRYING to be extra suave and agile. If someone gave me all that secret agent gear i'd certainly step up my game a notch.

I want this piece of garbage Jimmy episode erased from my memory. Jimmy is a waste of oxygen. Its too bad he is part of the mythos because the writers would have killed him off already. If you are going to make a Jimmy centric ep don't bore us with it and make it more believeable than Jimmy Olsen secret agent man. Pathetic.
