Trailers

Is anyone getting SICK of them showing trailers that contain scenes that are NOT in the episode they are advertising. I know this isn't the first time they have done this, but it is just such a slap int he face. A trailer is a short series of clips to give you an inkling of the next episode so you will watch. Last week we saw Lex arrive at the FOS in full Hoth gear. This week he didn't even wear a jackett. Now my opinion on this epi aside it is just such a betrayal that they keep giving us falsified trailers.

They do that all the time and IMO I think that it's necessary. To have Lex go to the Fortress without even having the box seemed impossible, so the thoughts of him going to the Fortress in this episode were pretty much suspended until he received the box.

I guess that they wanted to recap the season's events because from this episode on, everything will change. :\

Yeah, they always do that but they do give us scenes that for the next few episodes...they are doing this because it's part of the story arch.

actually that trailer from last week for a preview for the rest of the season and not just for tonights episode.

I understand that it shows things from teh arc and that happens later. But every week we get a new trailer for the upcoming episode. Is it that hard to put together a trailer for the next episode and not the next 4 or one thats 2 epis away. I would rather know what the hell I am getting into instead of being bait and switched.

Hmm I thought it was just a trailer for the following week's episode.

yea some times they do trailers for the next few episodes and some times its just for the next episode.

To me, the preview for "Apocalypse," contained only scenes from "Apocalypse." They only showed a preview for the rest of the season after "Descent," was compared to the rest of the season, "Sleeper" wasnt 100% exciting.
