I love it because the line wasn't delivered in a very menacing way, nor was it worded in a way that was too over-the-top or obvious, but the combination of what we know about Lex, plus the way he smiled at Jimmy as he said it, just totally got across how manipulative he is. Very Lex of the comics.

Chloe: Okay, while I'm trying to access outer space with an Intel processor, I think maybe you could contend with the cosmos using the old-fashioned ways. Dr. Swann intercepted all of Jor-El's transmissions from Krypton. Now, it's possible he sent something about Brainiac. I think it's time to sweep the dust off of Dr. Swann's journal.
