In the UK we have a ghost hunting show called Most Haunted with psychic Derak Acorah. I don't know if it's maybe aired in America or you have your own version so you might know what i'm talking about

If there's anyone from the UK reading this do you watch it and if so did you catch the live show on Saturday and/or Sunday?

I did, Miss Lane. I love the show. I'm not sure if I believe or not. But it's hilarious to watch them run off screaming when something happens to spook them.

I try to never miss an episode but i never watch it alone. The spoon flying through the air was impressive and i don't think one of the crew threw it. I like to keep an open mind but that was amazing. Looking forward to season 4 :)

I don't think any of the crew threw it, either. Yeah, season 4 should be good. It's cool they're showing some unseen photoage with the re-airing of past episodes at the moment.

Yep, have been trying to catch all the unseen epi's. Love those because you get to hear Derek ramble on about the secrets of the other side and why ghosts behave the way they do.

Apparentley one of the new season 4 episodes was filmed in Scotland so i'm really hoping it's Glamis Castle which has got more than a few gory stories linked to it....think it might be the most haunted castle in Britain.

I love this show but i missed the first hour of the first episode on Saturday and i didn't see it at all yesterday because of other TV shows (ER). No doubt it'll be repeated, so i'll check it out then... a new series is coming to Living TV really soon.. i think sometime this month :) Can't wait.

Yes, especially when it's just a door creak!

Is the UK version shown in the States then?

I thought so, or at least their was a very similar show a few years ago...

You would get so much money to explore an old castle or whatever in the middle of the night, and if you or any member or your team freaked out and quit, then you'd lose...

Ah, well no. That's not what Most Haunted is like. It's a team of paranormal investigators including a parapsychologist and spiritualist medium and crew who go to supposedly haunted locations in Britian and try to get scientific evidence for the existence of ghosts.

Whoops! Sorry!

That's okay. They're doing a similar thing with a weekend at a haunted house with some celebrities (unrelated to Most Haunted). That should be funny, too. :p

i have never seen that show here in the us midwest, but we do get this weird show with this guy who thinks he is a medium between the spirit world or something, and we get this other show called sightings on sci-fi, every once in awhile they go into haunted houses and every time they do all they say is "ohh it cold in this corner, ohh wait now it's cold over here, it must be movin"....

Was that presented by Linda Blair (from The Exorcist?) because that sounds pretty familiar... it was aired on the UK Horizon last year, it had a title like "The Scariest Places on Earth" or something like that...

Huffy, that haunted castle thing is Chillingham Castle in Northumberland, which is about 25-30 miles away from where i live. That should be good as when "Most Haunted" visited there during the first season of the show, it was genuinely spooky.. that starts next Friday (March 12th) for the weekend.

Can't miss that.

I loved Sightings. It useto be on Sci-fi over here too. They haven't shown it in ages though. We get alot of 'Haunted Hotels' and 'Haunted Castles' on Discovery. Another of my favourites is Ghosthunters on Civillisation. I've caught The Antiques Ghost Show a couple of times with Derek Acorah again but i can't really get into it like Most Haunted.

Yeah, I don't really watch any other ghost hunting shows except Most Haunted, there's just something about it that makes it so accessable, to me anyway. In remember the Chillingham castle episode, the celeb thing should be pretty good then.

Great name for a haunted castle too. You would think it was made up specially.

It'll be a bit like that film The Haunting with Catherine Zeta Jones. Lets hope no one gets decapitated by the fireplace like poor old Owen Wilson.

I've not seen the film, but if there are any annoying celebs there, can't say I'd object too much... ;) Kidding.

I liked MH the first few times I saw it, however after you watch a few ( especially the live ones) it just looks well dodgy.

Just letting UK viewers know that the celebrity thing is called 'I'm Famous and Frightened', where do they get these titles? and it starts this Friday through till Sunday at 9:00pm on Living. Saw it advertised again today. Over and out :)

Saw the Edinburgh Vaults episode of Most Haunted last night. One of the best and so helarious when Yvette screamed the place down when a camera man entered the room, thinking it was a ghost.nearly knocking Derek flying into the abyss somewhere :rotfl:

Well the Stratford Upon Avon live show was repeated last night so i was able to see bits of what i missed, and the spoon flying across the room was a real eye opener. Poor Yvette looked genuinely freaked out and upset, poor girl.

Also, you probably already know this, but the new fourth series begins on Living Channel on Tuesday March 23rd at 9pm :)

The spoons the most dramatic and unexplainable so far. Well from the episodes i've seen.

I'd forgotten when the exact date of the new ones so it's always helpful to be reminded :)
