"Sleeper" - Best 17th Episode of the Series?

Season 5: "Void" - Clark and Lex are each subjected to a substance that causes near-death experiences... and brings unexpected insights to each about he men they will become.
Season 6: "Combat" - Clark seeks out a secret internet fight club in order to battle its champion - a Phantom Zone escapee called Titan.
Season 7: "Sleeper" - Clark desperately searches for Brainiac, the only one who can reverse Lana's condition; Chloe, in her search for large power surges, breaks into several government computers; Jimmy gets caught between Lex and the Department of Security.

"Rosetta" and "Onyx" were great, and "Legacy" and "Combat" were decent, with "Reaper" and "Void" being "eh." I'm not sure where "Sleeper" will fall.

And another thing, the Octagonal Key...

There were a lot of mystery in the atmosphere of the episode.

Not even Onyx couldn't reach it.

My vote goes to Legacy.

I'm torn between Rosetta, Onyx, Legacy and Combat...I want to go with Combat for the fight scene, but Rosetta wins me over for the Superman theme playing in the background when Clark visits Swann.

Like I just posted on another thread, the Chris Reeves scenes in Rosetta and Legacy, especially Rosetta are so epic and iconic. They are my favorite episodes of Smallville (along with the Pilot) ever.

In terms of smallville supposed to be about Clark's journey i give it a 2 in terms of watchablitity as a completely different thing fromt he smallville universe i give it a 6

ahhhhh "Combat" was good but the episode "Gemini" was better and even "Travler" and "Bizzaro" and even the only episode he actually flew in "Crusade" which season 4 was good but dragged on and somewhat this season is doing but with a nice pace of story episodes instead of filler so overall i'm voting for "Gemini"

Sleeper shouldn't even be on this list. It should be on the list with the Vampire episode as one of the worst episodes ever. Lex was Lex good and Jimmy was adorable, but everything else just SUCKED!!!

"Rosetta" and "Onyx" are the best to me, but if I had to pick one, my ultimate choice would be "Onyx"

No doubt in my mind, 'Rosetta' was far and away the best 17th episode. It catapulted the rest of the entire series.

1) Rosetta- one of my 5 or 10 favorite ever.
2) Onyx- I think this marks the boiling point for Lex's conflict, and it was demonstrated through a literal splitting-of-the-personalities.
3) Legacy- great episode.
4) Void- liked Jonathan's conversation with Clark. That was really good.
5) Reaper
6) Sleeper
7) Combat- Loathed it.

My favorites would have to be Rosetta and Legacy for Christopher Reeve and Onyx ‘cause MR was just awesome.

I agree with anyone who says this was the worst episode ever. The only scenes that were good were the ones with TW. He wasn’t in it much ‘cause he was probably getting ready for directing next week’s eppy. Jimmy doing all the stuff that he did was so, so stupid. Hope we never see another one like this again, but I’m pretty sure we will. :(

i guess i am the only one who loved reaper. I thought it was the most thought provoking episode in the bunch. The antagonist actually was trying to do good, even though it might have seen bad. The other episodes are just so brainless. I mean Rosetta moved story along and had cool guest star but that's about it. While Legacy, Onyx, Void have so so plot and some body should shoot me after Combat and Sleeper.

Rosetta, no question about it. Legacy and Onyx were also great. I also liked Reaper. Combat was pretty good. Void wasn't that bad. Sleeper was definitely a sleeper and the worst 17th episode of all.

I also like Reaper, but don't think it was the best one. I do think it was a great episode and the acting/drama was superb. I liked Tyler as a character and felt bad for his situation even though I don't agree with what he did. I liked all 17th episodes but Sleeper.
