Yeah Clark kept saying how he wants to save Lana and stuff, in the episode it seems like Chloe gets a little frustrated with it.

Okay Alexander III, how about some details on how they danced? I'm sorry, but I can't get the fact that they were dancing dirtily at a club out of my head. Ugh!!! So unlike either of them.

I won't reveal much here but ok, this episode is just like James Bond 007. The spoilers already said Jimmy is spying on Chloe blah blah and such, so they were in this high-class club and trying to think of something to do. Music came on and they danced. But boy oh boy, they were doing some pretty good dancing like u see from "Dancing with the Stars". That's all I can tell u! :D

OH NOT TO MENTION THE STRIDE GUM CONSPICUOUSLY PLACED ON THE TABLE AND THE CAMERA PAN ON IT.
Excuse my caps locks, I said in a spoilers thread this episode could not be worse than Hero. When I saw that Stride Gum advertisement, I nearly bit my tongue.

They could definitely win the "Dancing w/ the stars" competition.
The final score is...
Alexander III: I give their dance an 8!!
Shelby: Woof, 9!!
Clark: 10, they dance better than me! Remember how I danced eh? Remember?

^ lols that scene is a laugh. I can't forget the commentary where Alison mentions Tom is actually good at dancing and he was being daggy on purpose :P Then there's that picture perfect music clip. Anyways, I'm getting a little off topic lol. What kinda dancing chimmy? Good song?

That's different - I'm looking forward to seeing some dance choreography on Smallville! (Stride gum isn't all that. I think the flavor actually lasts longer in Eclipse. It's better than Orbit, though.)

I liked it and I know that Jimmy did it so that Chloe wouldn't see what he was doing but it was pretty random, still. Haha.
I loved how the both knew the dance they were doing and what move to go to next. (Kind of like in a musical how everyone magically knows the words and dances...)
AM is a pretty good dancer, though. :)

 I'm sorry, maybe I'm just to critical of those things... but that was some bad dancing. So overly choreographed and stiff but funny. I loved it.
Wow, I just couldn't take anything that happened in this episode seriously. How many plot holes can one episode have?
Jimmy, I love you to death but there is no way I can buy you as James Bond and same goes for Chloe as Bond Girl. I don't know why... it is unexplainable to me because I usually really dislike Chloe, but tonight she was way to adorable for me to even have one tinsy weency bad feeling about her. How can a person be so darn cute? I just wanna eat her up. Wow, this was a horrible episode. I laughed all the way through. Maybe that is why I found everybody so darling and adorable (except for Clark, he was a moron and if I could have smacked him across the face instead of that woman hitting Chloe, I would have done it).
Wow, this was an unbelievably bad episode... that it was almost really good because it made me laugh so hard and made me fall in love with Jimmy and Chloe all over again. Jimmy I've always loved, but who knew Chloe was so cute? I don't know what to think about my own feelings for this episode, because I feel my own view is OOC. I mean, who knew I would root for Chloe... I don't think that has ever happened to me before? Wonder if it will last? Probably not. Wow, I'm considering this an AU. Nothing can and will be used against the characters in this episode because la la la la la... it didn't happen.
AM looked stunning in that dress, and Jimmy... well I just love him and the bow tie was cute as a button. What a horrible episode.
Ah, fun times. :rotfl:

04-24-2008, 07:16 PM
Yeah, Jimmy was using it as a diversion to copy the files off her phone. But it was a really lame scene, and it was WAY longer than it should have been. AM is a great dancer, she was really good. Really seductive. But the scene just seemed out of place and random, even though it did sort of serve a purpose. It could have been a lot shorter.
Lostfan588
04-24-2008, 07:16 PM
i dont know it was just really weirdly random though...i mean the only dancing chloe's ever done on the show was once, slow dancing in season 1 that like anyone can do, and now all of a sudden she knows the tango out of nowhere? Maybe AM can dance It just seemed out of Chloe's character. Just like the horrible lying seemed really out of character. I mean beeping text "Oh Jimmy...go get me a drink!"

It was time that could have been better spent on Lex finding the box and carrying out evil plans.
Or dancing with Chloe.
Or having sex with Clark.
In any case, the time would have been better used by MR.

I loved it--- one of my favorite parts of the episode. Neither totally seemed to be in character, but it was like getting a gimpse at the actors just goofing off. And they looked like they were having so much fun.
AndiGirl
04-24-2008, 08:16 PM
I thought Allison and Aaron were amazing! The definitely worked it....but that being said.... :( Yep, here comes the bad part. Do you ever have that feeling where you are so humiliated for someone you have to look away? Because they think they are being really cool? Yep...I experienced that moment tonight. I had to turn the channel a couple of times because it was just too awkward for me to watch. The dancing was fine....amazing in fact. But nobody....and I mean nobody else was dancing like that. If I was in that club I would be thinking "what are they on?" Just being honest. ;) But, I do think Allison and Aaron can really move...good for them! It just didnt have any purpose in the episode.

Allison Mack is a trained dancer who did correography for a stage production of Chicago. I believe acting is her first love however. She was really beautiful and graceful, unfortunately she was paired with the two left footed dud named Jimmy the Geek.

Oh...I loved the pancake scene! :)
It was so cute...and corny...very Jimmy. This scene...I dont know, just didnt feel right. I think it was just supposed to be a fun light hearted moment. It mostly felt like the actors goofing around...and less like Chloe and Jimmy. Not to mention, Jimmy only pulled her out there to get information off of her cell phone.
I miss the old cute, sweet Chimmy. Not this secret keeping super sexy version.

They were really bumping and grinding!! I did not expect that at all! This is just further evidence that Chloe isn't as innocent as she seems. She can be sexy and seductive with the best of them!
I gotta say though, tonight I realized that Chloe has got to have the nicest behind from all the female stars on the show. Her first scene in that outfit , WOW!

Not the best dance moves, but it fit with the episode. Very spy-movie ish
I thought their dance was very simpathetic and charming! Chloe certainly looked like she was having fun, which let's face it she doesn't have very often, not with Lex, Clark, Isis and thef reak of the weak breathing down her neck! The girl needs some fun Chloe time, and if Jimmy can provide that for her, than more power to her!

i hate chimmy but the dance scene was funny actually the only thing what i love was chloe`s dance was very sexy ..Allison is a good dancer ...i think people would have loved that scene if the star had been MR
oh my god! You are not kidding! That would have been sooo incredibly hot if it was MR! I think since they both hate each other, that it would've been more like Mr. and Mrs. Smith's dance scene as well! AHH I would have LOVED to see that!
AndiGirl
04-25-2008, 10:14 AM
woooo, me too. Plus, MR does intense really well.
I just watched the dancing scene again...and it really wasnt that bad. Chloe was adorable....and very seductive. Jimmy looked a little stiff at times, but over all they were very good together. The scene just didnt serve a purpose...other then getting chloe away from her phone.
Ilovebeinglost
04-25-2008, 10:21 AM
I thought it was a nice change of pace. And if Jimmy looked stiff it's because he was watching the phone downloading or is it uploading.
Well done!
I actually just watched the dance, and it was kind of cute, even though I still loathe chimmy, I liked it! Chloe was really sexy and athletic! Jimmy was trying to be the whole big tough man by holding on to the back of her head! I didn't mind that, it was kind of cute, still hate chimmy though!

I didn't like the dance.
It was awkward, clumsy, had no flow.
but it was cute in a dorky kind of way.

I was laughing when I saw the Stride gum placed there perfectly.
Also, the scene was lame and pointless.

I thought the moves were a bit forced. But it was still fun seeing them get down on the dance floor.

I don't think it looked forced at all, they were really cute. Jimmy was looking sharp <3

lols well it was amusing to watch.
Though in some parts it was abit stiff and arkward. Then again, Chloe was caught off guard so she was supposed to be lol. She relaxed more towards the end but I found the waving of the dress part just abit arkward lol. I liked Jimmy's confidence to it :P.
It did seem abit like they didn't get alot time to practise but then again, you wouldn't really expect Chloe and Jimmy to be professional like dancers and do it perfect lol it wouldn't really be realistic.
Personally, I think it would have been funnier to see abit of freestyle mixed in lol and just see Jimmy being abit more goofball like because that seems more his character than doing it really straight like lol.
The music was good but I think I would've liked to see a change of pace/song in between lol like start with the dip then get into more freestyle- instead of that breaking apart walking around bit.
I quite liked the twirl part, where he dipped Chloe lol and the part where Chloe makes that sneaky kinda face lol when she begins to loosen up abit. The end of it was arkward.
Yeh I'd give it 3 and a half lol! They danced alright lol hard to tell if they could dance better, because of them being in their characters. Yeah I agree with others seeing Michael would have been good but I can't really see his character 'Lex' dancing

It was a scene from "True Lies" that's where it came from. In fact this whole episode was pretty much "True Lies" mixed with "Mr. and Mrs. Smith".
Spot on - that's what I thought. Only the dancing in True Lies/Mr & Mrs was much better. They really needed to put more feeling in it. Lois and Clark could have done it better. Chloe looked really awkward.

He he he they could have a done the dance like John Travolta and the lady whose name I forget in Pulp Fiction, now that would have been good
I think Lex would be well suited this kind of dancing - tango or whatever it was they were doing. He could totally work his Luthor evil while dipping and twirling a lady LOL

I am only a 14 year old (dumb) nerd and therefore do not know if they danced well or not. In fact, I do not care. I do not watch episodes just to see how well people dance. I am not a Dancing With The Stars fan, nor do I care about American Idol.

Yeah it'd be interesting to see Lois and Clark dance, I do think it fits them better. They have that inherent I know something you don't know, trying to one up each other, bantering relationship that would be perfect for it. It would be hot and sexy.

That scene was SO random!?!?! I was thinking WHAT IN THE WORLD?? How did they just magically know how to tango? It was just too painfully ooc for me to process. As was the whole Jimmy as Bond theme. Jimmy has no slick bone in his body according to past character development. Where did the suave version come from?

Actually Jimmy has done sneak jobs before. Mostly off screen but he broke into places with Clark and Lois... and yes it was completely over the top this time, but that was the joke... I think this episode was intentionally funny, and the Tango was a nod to both True Lies and Mr. and Mrs. Smith....

I have to say, I am a total girl about the dance scene. It was the only scene in the show I actually enjoyed.
Yes, it was completely out of place. Yes, there has never been any indication that either of them have taken professional dancing lessons. Yes, product placement couldn't have been more obvious. But it was so damn cute I just had to squeal with joy! I thought it was hilarious, adorable, and the highlight of the show.

I loved that you could tell they were really into it. Thats what made it so cute. Either chloe/jimmy were or aaron/allison were. Either way...its obvious they enjoyed it.

It was awful... just awful
i swear they are determined to make Chloe have no sex appeal whatsoever... it was awkward, there was no sexual heat, it was like friends dancing...
i thought AM made a fool of herself, i thought it was pointless
i can't understand why they couldn't just have the club be a nightclub and have Chloe and Jimmy dancing like people their age would dance... give AM the change to show how sexy she really can be just like Erica did in Exposed... but no... they gave her a cheesy dance instead
it just makes me sick to watch it... sometimes i wanna cry too

Awkward was the best way to describe it. That was exactly what I thought the second I saw it. I LOVE AM, but it was just not her brightest moment. It takes a lot for me not to totally dote over her too.

I actually didnt expect them to start the tango either. It would have been nice if Chloe got to play the sex kitten and "distract" Jimmy. ;). but the tango went along with the Jamies Bond feel. I thought it seemed like AA and Am enjoyed themselves...and it did feel like friends goofing. It was cute...but too long. I knd of cringed when she started circling Jimmy....that was corny.

Despite not being a Chimmy fan, the dance was actually pretty cute. They weren't half bad...I mean, I don't see them making any dance shows any time soon but they didn't make me cringe. It was actually pretty good and amusing. They had me laughing. Not because they were bad but because of why they were doing it. Plus Chloe's facial expressions were adorable! :D
The one thing I had a problem with though was after Jimmy dipped Chloe the first time, he kept his hand on her head for a little while and for a second, it looked like he had been controling her head movements when she flipped her head back and forth a couple times. Was he actually making her do that or did they just accidentally make it look that way?!
This is like the 4th time they have advertised that gum on this show. The other 2 times were in Fracture and Siren. I've learned to live with the fact that Stride is now part of the Smallville universe. It's like a character. They should put it in the opening credits!
Wanna hear the sad part? Their advertising actually worked! Me and my sister have now tried each flavor of gum in the order we saw it in just because whenever we saw it in the store, it made us laugh our freaking butts off! :rotfl:

I'd say that's nothing knew... Chloe magically knows everything for any given scene... she just gave her power to jimmy for that moment... and really we don't have a complete history on Jimmy would it be that hard to write in some dance classes in college or high school?

I agree with your post. Only difference is.....where you would say awful.....I would say excruciating.
I've heard so many people refer to the scene as "awkward". But to me that doesn't even describe the half of it. It was really painful to watch. I mean I am not a "giggly" girl but I had to turn away from the screen several times laughing because I just couldn't watch. I was absolutely mortified for AM/AA.

the Chimmy dance WAS fun!
i thought it was incredibly entertaining! as a matter of fact, I found myself chuckling through most of this episode
I didn't even think the Chimmy was offensive, which is a first for me, they seem to realize they're not the perfect fit, but they'll get a little fun out of it anyway. ;)

But that's just the thing - it wasn't meant to be an awkward/cute dance, it was meant to be a sexy & passionate dance with the tension of each of them wondering what the other knows - of the True Lies type.
