so true and i think too that clark is also still blinded by "theres still goodness in him" stigma which there clearly hasn't been just his twisted justifyable motives

I was under the impression that the last scene with them together would be the last time they stood on nutural ground. From now on...the battle is on. The intensity in their eyes, there was no mistaking that. I think Clark has let go of the assumption that Lex is savable, and he accepts him for who/what he is now. should be interesting.

well presumably He'll have tons and tons of opportunities to get into Lex's head better than anyone else. That is what the arch-nemesis is for anyway!!
