Ok so i am new at this but what an episode to join the forum on..........A great episode!

Welcome to the Smallville forums... Right on about the great episode! I guess fellow Smallville fans will always criticise episodes but I thought it was great. The storyline seems to lead on for the remaining episodes well and just think if the writers strike never ended, we would not have seen this episode hehe...

Man, didn't that episode just give you the chills? It was really great. I just wish that Lional didn't die so early.

I did for a second think the opening scenes were a dream sequence but then I thought we have seen that done too many times before. Lionel's last words to Lex were so fitting to the whole Superman story...

It would have been good to see Lionel planting the key/envelope at the Daily Planet but I guess we just had to imagine that. The message that Lionel had for Clark in that kryptonian torch thing gave me goosebumps hehe...

So I wonder what happens next but I can tell you one thing, I cannot wait :(

Now that you mention the kryptonian flashlight thingee, how did Lionel acquire such a device? any thoughts anyone?

He was the vessel and there you have it. It was magically placed in his safe by the Smallville staff :lol:

On a serious note, no idea how it got there. Plot hole yes. Maybe one day we will find out.

LOL! Smallville writers and their love of kryptonian metal/crystal objects. It was such a cool scene that my critical thinking was temporarily suspended. But, afterwards, I was like, "where'd Lionel get that flashlight from?"
