"descent" was absolutely the best episode in smallville history. i am so proud for everyone involved in this episode, they really delivered.

anyone agree?

Well,actually i think this was a awesome episode but not the best for me the best was probably combat..

i also don't know about "best. episode. ever."

but i REALLY liked it...and going purely off 'spur of the moment' gut feeling, it was the best of season 7 easily.

"Justice" is still number 1, but "Descent" falls into the top 5 episodes of the entire series so far.

"Descent" was pretty dadgum good.

Not THE best. That probably goes to "Justice" right now, but it's ONE of the best of the series.

I don't know which is my #1 I would have to go through all my favorites and list the pros and cons of each and tally up to really pick a winner but this was excellent definitly ONE of my favorites!

I think it was the best episode ever...if it wasn't, it's easily in the top three...without question imo...

This is #3 for me. Shattered and Aslyum are my favoties. In a minority I know, but Justice was just average for me. I prefer when they focus on the main characters stories, not really when they branch out into the Justice League and all. I kind of like the earlier eps with the League guys more, though. But Descent is in the top three, I'd even say they are all tied.

It was a great episode.It seemed like all the good guys were in major trouble the whole time. Smallville has taken its excellence to an even higher level.My all-time favorite is still red though.
