I'm leaning towards a surviving member of Veritas. Thank God she didn't survive.

I figured Lex got one of his guys to do it, because he couldn't risk anyone knowing about him killing Lionel. Bad timing though, huh? She was just about to tell him about Clark haha.

The only one it could be is Jason Teagues father, but he didnt look he I thought he would, after seeing the flashback in "Veritas."

Ok who? We saw all the veritas memeber in Earlier episodes and we all well know Lionel had them all killed, now with the eception of Swan's daughter no other living relatives had any knowledge of Veritas. Besides it would make far more sense for somebody like that to go after Lexx directly than a stupid henchwoman.

I was thinking that Lionel probably had someone hired before he died.

Really from the grave? After all this time? First of all where did you heard this and even if it were true, he did not look like a guy that would turn into a professional hitman for hire...
And he would have probably gone after Lexx not a stupid henchwomen...

I believe it is Edward Teague spoilers say he is due to show up in one of the last episodes and saying he was in hiding all these years.

I'm thinking one of Lex's hired guns because she knew that Lex killed Lionel and couldn't risk anyone else knowing the truth. If this is true Lex really screwed himself over because he'll never know the Treaveler is Clark....

I kinda felt like Lex might have hired a hitman to rub her out since she was the only other person who knew he killed Lionel. The look he gave her at the mansion when she figured it out is what made me think that.
Not sure, though. Maybe we'll find out later?

I actually thought it was the Indian guy, Kyla's father, the one who wanted to save the caves...LOL

Could it be maybe lionel contacted martha and she sent an agent down to keep tabs on lex and his posse?

It was Lex. That look he gave her when she said WE did it. He smiled at her eerily like she knew too much. And that was the last time he saw her.

Gina was making herself too familiar with Mr. Luthor and Lex,having been betrayed by women repeatedly, was under no inhibition to remove to potential future threat from an underling once he had committed patricide and at least symbolically killed his good side. It was a Lex job.

I agree. And she was such a loyal dumba$$ too.
Of course, by killing her, Lex threw away a great opportunity to finally learn the truth about Clark's heritage.
Didn't she leave a voicemail for Lex though right before she was murdered? I'd love to see Lex listening to the message briefly (in the next episode) followed by the only natural and most appropriate reply, "Awww #%@!!!!!!!"
Brilliant episode, btw!

I think it was an agent of the Department of Domestic Security who killed her. I posted my theory in a similar theory.

I believe it was Edward Teague. He looked very similar to the guy featured in the flashback. Plus, he is the only person, who has knowledge of the Veritas group apart from Lex. So he is the last living member trying to protect Clark's secret.

Precisely now that is the only thing that makes perfect sense given what we have seen in the episode and thru out the show and is perfectly in sinc with Lexx current attitude and behavior. None of the other outlandish theories that are now for some unexplained sninglet of the universe being posted make any shred of sense nor do they hold any water against any kind of scrutiny and I wish they would just stop unless they have better evidence than something pulled from their rears that is...

I don't think the hencman would go after Lex, because Lex doesn't know. He's sticking his nose in the S#@* but he hasn't caught the whiff, if you know what I'm saying. Gina gave away that she knew who the traveler was, which, if you were a henchman hired by Lionel/Veritas, to protect the secret of the traveler, would be a quick way to get yourself taken out.

And again we are back with a hitman hired by Lionel, Patricia Swan or the alleged surviving Veritas member. None of this would ever betray Clark's identity to a complete stranger risking having the traveller killed or exploited by that same complete stranger.
The reason I disagree with Edward Teague being the one that offed Gina is for what the alleged Veritas survivor does to Lex in an upcoming episode. Given the MO differences there is no way they can be the same person.
