Precisely and in Lexx Luthor's superevil twisted world there is only room for one person alone and that is himself alone. And yes she knew it could happen at any moment you could tell how terrified she was when she confided in him that she knew what he had done, besides she was the only one Luthor could suspect off when Clark told him he had proof remember?

I agree. Lex wouldn't willingly let all of that information go to waste like that. She proved to be completely devoted to Lex Luthor, so having her alive would be ideal for Lex's plans.

I thought he had her killed for sure! She was like "Lex, WE've done it." and then he gave her a really cold look and the music went all instense, and i said to myself she is gonna die. Lex only looks out for Lex, and plus he couldn't let anyone know about him killing Lionel, ANYONE. Also, Lex didn't know that she knew who the traveler was, she clearly left him a message, and then never got the chance to tell him, Lex didn't have the time to change his plans or call her back. Pretty bad timing. Either way i'd like to see Lex's face when he gets that message.

Ilovebeinglost
04-17-2008, 07:16 PM
It has to be Lex because she figured out who killed Lionel and once Lex has both keys he can't afford to have her around especially when she said " we did it Lex" and he was creeped out by that.

He has not gotten that message from her yet. As far as he knows she was packing Chloe's things at the Planet and maybe he gave orders to kill her when the opportunity came

First of all there was no way for Lexx to know that his Henchlady had made such a discovery, but he did knew that Clark had proof somehow and the only one that he knew that knew of his crime was her and no one else, now as for someone on Clark's side being responsible it just doesn't add up. Again even Lionel is now dead and he was the last living member of Veritas so there are no more key players left of that group anymore. All evidence circumstancial as it is points to Lexx and Lexx alone.

Hadn't thought of that angle. I originally thought that Lex had her killed. I was expecting it all along right from the beginning. No one that knows too much about Lex lasts long on that show.
But now Clark has told Lex that he knew he killed his father. You would think that in keeping with his tradition Lex send someone after Clark.
I really wanted them to show Lex getting that message from his moll at the end and the look on his face knowing he pulled a real boner.

I doubt it was Lex, Gina (finally they named her) seemed to have a thing for him and I think he is desperate enough for any attention he wouldn't have had her killed. After reading the Quest preview, I think it's obvious who had her killed. At first I thought it might actually be Martha Kent, as strange as that sounds.

Who? Could you even point to someone? All Veritas members are now dead so who? Martianmanhunter? I doubt it as murder is not his style...
Does anyone even see the problem with this ridiculous theory that it does not even hold any water against any kind of serious scrutiny?

Yet Lexx had plenty of reasons to be rid of her first and foremost that to his knowledge she was the only person that knew he had murdered his own father! Then add to that the fact that Clark tells him he has proof! Now who is he going to suspect that provide Clark with that proof?

As creepy as this sounds I wanted Lex and Gina to start making out when she told him she knew what he had done. I hope there is a least one more lexana scene before the seasonal finally. It's going to be interesting to see how lex treats lana know that he is 100% evil.

she was bound to die; anyone other than Lex that knew he killed lionel would definitly be in mortal danger. no way lex would let her live. but it was lex who had her killed(imo) because she said "call me back" which means that she never got a hold of lex. so he couldn't tell his hired gun not to kill her. wow.

Although I agree with those who point to Lex, there is one member of Veritas we don't know whether is dead or alive...Edward Teague.

By the way, I think we're up to 3 threads on this subject already.

but lex didn't know where she was

she was probably out of contact with him, once she told him to leave the DP, and let her take care of Chloe's things. then she found Jimmy, did the assistant/jimmy/lois scene, tracked down the isis thingy, and then got killed. why would lex's hired gun follow her that long first. and they went through a lot of trouble to show the guy's face for some anonymous hired gun for lex.

that's true, but wouldn't he have asked whoever did the tracking where she was, thus arousing his curiosity, and keeping her alive for a few more minutes? and why go through that, when there's a much easier way. just wait for her to return. and if he was having her followed, he would know she hadn't betrayed him yet, and hadn't outlived his usefulness yet.

Yeah, but Gina knew that Lex killed Lionel. That makes her a loose end. No matter how much of an asset she was to Lex, the knowledge she possessed made her a potential threat. Gina could have turned on him at any point. Regardless of how loyal she was, there was a darkness to her. You've heard the Highlander rule - in the end there can be only one.

MrZeppo

Uhhhhh... I thought it was pretty obvious Lex had Gina (She has a name!) killed.

She overstepped her position. Lex doesn't trust anyone. He couldn't even trust the brother he had grown! As soon as she put her hand on his shoulder I knew she was dead. Lex had to tie up his lose ends and Gina was one of them. Everytime she was in the scene with him, addressed him as "Lex", talking about "we did it" and "no one will ever know", blah blah blah, I knew Lex was going to have her taken care of.

The sad thing is I think she was so devoted to him because she was romanticizing their relationship. That's why she didn't just say Clark's name on the voicemail. She wanted to be there personally in front of Lex to feel his appreciation, or so he thought. I bet Lex is going to be mighty pissed when he hears that voicemail. He'll prolly go, "Crap, I shouldn't have ordered a hit on her!" And btw, there are several ways to track people. Cell phone, Lojack on her car (I'm guessing it is the Lojack system on her car. If it was a Luthorcorp vehicle, then Lex would be able to track it.).

He didn't care about her. Their relationship was purely business. As soon as she started overstepping her paygrade, treating him with a level of familiarity that she shouldn't have, she was doomed. She started acting like she was on equal footing with Lex Luthor, and there was no way he could have that.

Between that and her personal knowledge of his dealings she was dead, she just didn't know it yet.

I think that guy that killed her was working for that secret memeber of Vertias since if you notice she would have told Lex about Clark being a Traveler, so that's why the secret member killed her to protect Clark. I think it will be all answer in Quest.

That would have been exactly like the time Lionel had Lex's memory wiped in season 3, shortly after he saw the video he had taken of Clark and Lex with Lex saying, I know your secret. He was so angry I loved that scene.
