Foreshadowing of the shift from LuthorCorp to LexCorp? First thing I thought when I heard Lex say this.

I think it might be an inside joke about how the comics, movies and other shows only say "his father" and never "Lionel" when discussing him.

Didn't Lex start LexCorp back in season 2.

I'm thinkin a name change will be in order, but it might also be a jab at the fact that Lionel wasn't in comics till recently.

LexCorp ended in season two, not season three.

Lionel Luthor spied on Lex and then bought over LexCorp, and obviously Lex supposedly died, so LexCorp was never mentioned again since Lex just started working for his dad again.

It could be a foreshadow, but I doubt we will ever hear about or see LexCorp in Smallville.

Yeah that's how I took it. In general, when people think Luthor they only know of Lex.

I think that could be part of it.

I also like the idea that along with Lionel dying, Lex changes things to make them his own, so the notion that LexCorp comes out of that line is something I could buy.

Yea it was probably the nod to the comics where lex's father isnt known and didnt have a name right? and also man it would be sweet if they had lex change name to lexcorp again would be sweet.
