I'm in Sydney and I know your frustration. Channel 10 are showing Season 7 on their High Definition channel. Episode 4 of S7 - Cure, was on last night. Other than the Premiere Bizarro (which rocked), the next 3 episodes, Kara (was OK), Fierce (totally lame) and Cure (OK, especially cos Dean Cain was in it) were a bit slow. The season warms up a bit after this. So if you can get access the Ch 10 HD, then join the S7 fun.

Of course, there are other ways, but we are not allowed to discuss them in here. :)

I loved how even in his final moments, Lionel was constantly lying to Lex. Also when Lionel says, "Those are the memories of a little boy traumatized for a meteor shower!" He says it with such a straight face, unblinking, lying to Lex again.

And then the absolute sorrow on Lex's face when he says, "you sacrificed me for the Traveler. Why, Dad?"

Of course I loved, "I was raised in your shadow. Now you're gonna die in mine. Nobody will even remember your name."

And, Lex: After all those years of pleading with my father to show me some compassion, he turned to YOU with open arms. Now what would a worldly billionaire have in common with a small-town farmboy?
Clark: Maybe he just knew he could trust me.
Lex: Of course! Everyone can trust Clark Kent! You're the perfect son...but, I wonder, why was Jonathan Kent always so stressed? I mean was raising the perfect son really so much work? I wonder what type of toll it took on his heart.

This line immediately reminded me of Shakespeare's old trick in Hamlet: when the word "sun", since it is not meant to be read but heard through acting, can be interpreted to be the word "son"...and we all know that Clark is the Son of Krypton. Chloe says it as she walks up the steps and sees "the son" again.

I just thought that was a fun way to look at it. :D
