Anyone here a fan of "My Hero", the BBC series which deals with a superhuman alien who has to deal with an average life with the woman he loves and his child while juggling with his heroic side job?

It has it's funny point as this alien tries to deal with humans and his list of superpowers and a half-human, half-alien son.

It's not Smallville, but it's good. IMO.

(You can look up more about it on the BBCamerica site or www.tvtome.com. I use the latter.)

Thanks.

Sorry, didn't see the other TV shows catergory. Could this be moved there, please? Sorry.

I SWORE I'd never post on these boards again, but ohhhhh . . .
I am HUGE fan of this show! I hope they do a third series, as I would LOVE to see what an effect a super-baby will have on the cast dynamic. I love this show, and would recommend it to ANYONE.

That show is so funny. It is so stupid it makes you laugh your head off.

*Grumbles at local PBS for taking it off*

blitzchange, there IS a third series, they've aired it over here in the UK. It's a good show, it can be a bit silly at times, but that's the general point of it.

I love the episode where he gets Marmite on his costume and Janet makes him wash it. Then on the radio a reporter asks why Thermoman isn't there yet and he yells back; "Because the washing cycle's not finished!"

I love Ardal O'Hanlon in everything and I've been to see him perform stand-up. :D

What would happen if George and Clark were to meet? Just a crazy idea.

Hee! Clark, like everyone else would be extremely confused and disturbed by his strange behaviour. :p

Heh, heh, heh...:D:p
I haven't seen the episode you mentioned, but I can just see him doing that. I love the one where Mrs. Raven becomes The Raven and puts an old man on the top of a Bus Shelter among other things. That was so funny.

Hee, yes. My Hero just works so well as a comedy, because Superhero costumes do have a tendency to look funny. And Ardal O'Hanlon just has great comedic timing and he just has this sweet niavette, which he plays up to the full, not just as George, but also in his role as Father Dougal Maguire in the TV show Father Ted (you should TOTALLY check this out if you get the chance).

People have mentioned that one here, but I don't think our PBS plays that one. They seem to be shuffling their Britcom scedual to much. The Saturday line up seems to be staying the same, but the weeknight ones are changing every couple of moths so i don't know whats on and when any more. For all I know My Hero is on sometime when I don't even know it!

Yeah, I thought the first season with the baby wasn't too good. But the next season with the baby was a lot better.
