And Jed ended up in 33.1 at the end of the epi.

Hmm. People who called Clark Kal-El in S3... Jonathan (Legacy); Swann (Legacy); Jor-El (Exile and Covenant); Lara (Memoria); and Kara/Lindsey (Covenant). None of these are alive, however, so I must be missing someone.

Of those, I think Virgil Swann meets your clues, though. He was part of Veritas, a group created to serve the Traveler, which Swann did well - and face to face, at least in part. And he questioned Clark's actions re running off to Metropolis and whether he was ready to have his destiny revealed to him.
