Clark does not use superhearing to hear what I say. A number of others, including the other main that I probably interacted with, heard me say the thing that confused Clark.
Clark has developed superhearing at the time he hears me.
No, he has not learned to huff and puff and blow Pontius's vault door down at this point and Lionel's head had previously been shaved, meaning this scene takes place after “Covenant,” but before “Sneeze.”

Had Jonathan Kent already died when this scene occurred? Had the second meteor shower happened yet?
