Facing Lionel, with Chloe by her side, Lana says, "So far as we know, everyone who knows Clark's weakness is in this room."
Other than Pete and Martha of course. Oh, and Brainiac. And Dax-Ur, whom Lana doesn't know is dead. Probably want to put AI Jor-El on the list too. And seven years' worth of Belle Reve captives. OH! And the Martian Manhunter. From Lana's POV, we should probably chalk Ollie up at least as a maybe. Now was there anybody else...
Well, whether it's a comprehensive list or not, it is far longer than the list of three names Lana was able to rack up. I don't blame the character. I blame the writers. Are they so desperate for cliched dialoge like "every one of them is in this room!" that they are willing to ignore blatant continuity issues?
Maybe, one could argue, maybe it's too much to expect them to remember every last meteor freak (plus the non-meteor infected friends and enemies) from the last seven seasons who found out Clark's secret and lived. But Pete? Heck, Pete just had his own whole episode (remember, where he became Elastic Lad?). And Clark's MOTHER???
Shoddy writing.
They have had some obvious continuity issues over the years, but this was just lazy.
