Moderators if not in the right forum please move: But I want to say to things first I am tired of being teased about the flying deal, let Clark fly already come on. We were teased in season 1 when Clark woke and found himself floating, season 4 I beleive when he had gone bad and was seaching for the stones as Kal-el and now with Kara as Supergirl trying to get him to fly. Superman flies why keep playing with us, this is getting old. I don't know what the deal is if the are worried about pushing the series to fast come on he has all his other powers why not fly and get over with it. Now on to CLana, this whole realationship thing with Lana has gotten old, it is time for her to go bye-bye. Smallville has lost it way with it. IMO Smallville was better when he was alone chasing Lana than now that he has her, she is holding him back from getting to his true destiny of Superman and to be with Lois. What does everyone else think?:(

I kind of agree with you, and the way they have Clark refusing to fly was lame as a chicken in a KFC. But the fact of the matter is that Superman flies and Clark doesn't. And Smallville is NOT a Superman show, it's a Clark Kent show.

I have to say, though, that they're really making him out to be a snivelling emo. This is definitely one of those alternate universes where he becomes Ultraman or the leader of the Justice Lords or something. This is NOT the guy who becomes OUR Superman.
