Just asking, since Lionel went to Smallville to find the traveler the day he arrived, and considering he knows a lot about this whole deal, I really dont understand he didn't suspect Clark was the traveler when he helped the Kents adopt him. It was a suspicious action, he had to think about it. Or maybe he knew, then helped them so he could be protected by them, I dont know. If you look back on Smallville specially on season 3, Lionel was very involved in the caves, the stone key, he must have recognized the symbols on the cave...for me this whole thing fits....and it doesn't. Like it should be. Oh, and the Veritas episode was great. Only complaint: showing Patricia Swan's dead body with the gunshot on her head. Cruel.

I still never thought Lionel knew Clark was the one when Clark was a baby. Otherwise he would have kept a better eye on him and checked him out sooner, rather than before RedK Clark sauntered into the mansion. Oh well I guess they're changing the history anyway.

At least with the picture showing Swann with her gunshot wound, people will stop speculating she's still alive.
