Something I Didn't Understand

Ok there was something in this episode that I didn't get is why Clark didn't take Lana to the FOS I know Jor-El isn't his favorite person right now but maybe he could have done something for Lana. Let me know your thoughts thanks.

Brainiac said that Lana is in deep pain and take her there maybe isn't the best idea ... her body wouldn't survive much longer. But I do think that Clark must go there to talk to Jor-El about this.
