Brainiac and Kara fly away into space and I think into a portal... I think, its awesome.

Great panning shot of the Daily Planet building from the bottom up to the top of the globe. The space scene with Kara and Brainiac was also pretty impressive. The eye poker that Brainiac used on Lana was also effective.

The best was Brainiac and Kara's flight and eventual vanish into...something? I also loved the new Daily Planet exterior, where they pan up the building. Brainiac's morphing/knife was okay, but we've seen it before.

I agree. When Kara and Brainiac flew into the sky and then broke the sound barrier. That was great effect!!! The sky with the colors and all.:eek:

Lots of cool new shots, the aerial shot of the Farm and Barn, the DP exterior, the full Moon! A Really different feel. Loved the outerspace scene.
Have we ever seen a scene shot like the opening teaser? That really felt different.

That was the most action packed intro ever (not including the Season Finales/Premieres)

Yah, there was a lot of great shots, and another reason why I love Smallville, they always have some incredible shots and they seem to love to pan around Smallville and Metropolis, which is awesome for a TV series.

And if you're talking about the full moon over Metropolis, that has been done before actually...I believe the first time it was shown was in "Arrow".
