so each of the 4 families (Teagues, Queens, Luthors, Swanns) each have their own lockett and to unlock the Traveler's note, they have to have 2 of the keys?
hmm, I wonder if Lex is going to go take the one from Queen Industries or the one from his father (don't know if he knows yet, but he did say things are closer than what they seem)

From the way they made it out, there are only the two keys.

I think that it's just the Queens and the Swanns that have them, the box only requires two. Remember Mr. Queen in that scene where little Lex was watching, he was insistent on handling it the correct way.
Originally I wasn't sure but now I think I am.
The one Lionel has IS the Queen's, Lex had the Swann's.

o wow, never thought of that, but now that i do, maybe this is why he had the converation with his security guy about confirming the killing of the queens.

Maybe they couldn't make a box with four keyholes. :rotfl:
They probably wanted to keep the secret guarded, but not too guarded to the extent that they have to gather up everyone just to open the box. That's why I think they had two.

I think that the two most reliable members of the group where entrusted with the keys. Look how the Teagues and Luthors ended up...

Yeah, Jenn is right. In the last Lex flashback, Lionel was told that Oliver's dad was dead and he was given his locket.
Right? Is that what I saw or were my eyes deceiving me because I missed a part of that scene.

Yes you are right. Lionel in the previous flashback scene was already after his key, so it makes sense.

i think swann entrusted mr queen with one key and swann kept one for himself as he felt mr. queen was the most trusting of lionel and edward teague.
