Can Chloe heal Lana?

I wonder if Chloe can/will heal Lana? Brainiac said she's uncurable by human standards but Chloe uses super human methods. It seems interesting to me that the last scene had Chloe staring in horror at the situation.

Props to you, galatians221. This is an interesting quandary for Chloe. Should she heal Lana or not? Will it cost her life since it's something that can't be healed by human standards? How will Chloe deal with it if she chooses not to help Lana? They were very close at one point in the series, when they were younger.

Okay, I'm stopping now cause my head's spinning with speculations.

I don't think she can. She couldnt heal Moira could she?

Plus this time she's totally being controlled by Brainiac, so its even more difficult to do so

Since Lana isn't in the next five or so episodes I don't think Chloe will be able to heal Lana at least for five episodes
My guess is she won't be back to normal if ever until Braniac returns.

I really don't think she can and why would she want to! she has to take on the thing she heals doesnt she? o well if she does i'm pretty afraid for her.. btw i think she would probably if she knew for sure she could cure her

perhaps she will try, but then chloe's health would be in danger...would chloe take on lana's comatose/brainwashed state? would chloe's healing attempt work? so many questions and so few answers....but if chloe does decide to heal lana, i both commend her for her sacrefice and bravery, but i also fear for her mental sanity. with chloe's track record of mental instability, could her body/mind handle taking such a severe mental hit?

Jor-El might be able to...but I doubt he would. All Lana has done (at least in his eyes) is stumble and compluicate Clark's development, so with her out of the picture, his son can progress towards his destiny.

Didn't Brainiac say something like "It's completely irreversible by humans, but completely reversible by me"? Don't quote me on that, but on the roof at the Daily Planet, he said something to that effect. Atleast that's what I recall.

Besides, I don't think Clark would let her. He's lost both Kara and Lana, he can't lose Chloe too. (Not that he controls Chloe, just saying)

No, she's not technically sick. Brainiac put a piece of his essence in her brain. Once he removes it, she'll be whole again. It's not a disease, however.

That's right and that's why I speculated that it would take something supernatural to heal Lana. Chloe's power is kryptonite based and it seems to me that Kryptonite can neutralize Brainiac. I know it can't effect him personally because he isn't a person but he is energy as Clark speculated. How do you locate his energy and how do you undo what his negative energy created? Chloe may be the best shot other than Jor El himself.

I think Chloe will offer, but that Clark would say that right now he needs her.

If Chloe could heal Lex enough to allow old memories to surface, I think it's possible to heal Lana, however, I don't think she could do it without sacrificing herself. If she were to take on Lana's injury (Braniac substance), then she might not be dead, but in Lana's condition. And it's not the same as Moira since, both Moira and Chloe were affected by kryptonite. Lana is not.

I think it's an option if Alison doesn't sign for S8. However I think she will.

It would not be a good idea for Chloe to try and save Lana right now. Someone has help Clark track where Brainiac has been and where he might show up next. Also what if she did try and then she gets trapped with Lana. Then Clark would be all alone now that Kara is gone.:confused:

The way she looked at Clark & Lana in the last scene,tells me that she will do the sacrifice,she will save Lana and it will become her worst nightmare she will end up in a mental institute like her mother.It's the most plausible theory.That will explain how Chloe Sullivan suddenly vanished from Smallville,Metropolis,the Daily Planet and the all world.This will be the finale cause of Clana's ending(those 2 will feel so guilty after this that will agree to stay friends),Clark will embrace his destiny,will fallow Chloe's foot steps and will become a reporter on the Daily Planet with Lois.

I was wondering the same thing...But if Chloe did healed or try to heal Lana, could she die for good then? Because BrainIAC is so much more powerful then a simple stab in the gut or being brain dead from a gun shot to the head or a cut on the hand.

BrainIAC is connected to Lana right? SO if CHloe tried to heal Lana....he will fry Chloe or kill her cause he knows whats going on.

Honestly, I want Chloe around a lot longer.

I agree, technically there's nothing wrong with Lana. Braniac just "tweaked" her nervous system to get the coma result.

If Lana had been paralyzed by being thrown/hurt etc, then yes Chloe could heal Lana and would heal her near sister in a heartbeat. Yet this is no mere injury.

Brainiac did that finger prong into her eye- inject some weird Kryptonian ability over her so that she'd be an emotional drain on Clark.
Lana is not simply catatonic. She was body jacked by the Brain Interactive Construct. I'm not sure theres any coming back from that besides making Brainiac consciously release whatever hold he has over Lana.
