I think it was:
Jonn Jonzz on the Swann satellite as per the "Justice and Doom" stories from last season.

I was thinking the same thing!

This has been the greatest frustration of the season so far. Where the heck is Martian Manhunter! I hope youre right, and that the writers are going to bring him back. Hes been gone for way too long!

That's the only thing that came to mind, which means that possibly he could very well be the returning character.

i hope so as he is one of my fav. characters. it would work well with the story as he could help clark fight brainiac

Yeah, they did put a lot of focus on that satellite. Like it meant something important. So if MM does come back, maybe he could say that he saw Kara and this Kryptonian machine (Brainiac) fly off into space.

Yep, good point. It's definitely a set up, and it was only bombarded by that flash of light from Brainiac and Kara, not damaged.

yea they just dont put things there just for the hell of it. there must be importance with it.

Mmhmm exactly.

I didn't even think about it being MM-related but that has to be it. It almost seemed like the satellite moved as they passed it, like when a boat passes a buoy. But MM makes great sense. How else is Clark going to find Kara?
Oh, of course, I forgot Chloe is looking too so there's always a good chance he'll be told where to find her.

i would be so happy if it is:D

And Jor-El has only wanted MM to show up when absolutely necessary (from what I've read), I think this is one of those times, no?

It seemed to just shake a bit and then keep on moving.

It was knocked about a bit, but it seem to right itself and keep going.

U have to wonder how that happens in the vacuum of space :rotfl:

Well, it shouldn't have been "moving".
It should have been "pointed" in a certain direction.
I wonder if the nudge they gave it knocked it out of alignment a bit.

I wonder also, it would make sense. If that's the case, it should be picked up by whoever is monitoring it on earth, frex, whoever KNOWS about it anyhow...

I think it was just a regular satellite that always circles around the planet.
Nothing special.

Ooh man I'm dying to see if this turns out to be right...Wicked Jenn, if you can rewatch the episode, and if it was Lex's satellite - they probably put a sticker on it LuthorCorp or something. Or some sort of symbol. I was trying to look at it, but it went by too fast. I can't rewatch it.

It really looked too small to be a super Watchtower satellite. It look like a regular communication satellite to me.

I said the exact same thing on the Canadian thread. The satellite looks like the Swann's Watchtower. It was there for a reason.

Sure, explain that to all the people that doesn't have a clue about "Justice and Doom" because they didnt play the game or don't use smallville related sites.

Er, ok...
Well, the info I got wasn't from any game. I did a brief explanation here, but I will get into it in more detail when the one week rule has passed and write whole theory in the spoiler section.
It's on Youtube I believe, but anyway...At the end of the "Justice and Doom" series, Martian Manhunter is shown on a satellite owned by the Swanns, and Dr. Swann had been in contact with him well before the meteor shower. So there he is in HIS "watchtower" capacity. That's why I was thinking it was THAT satellite which we saw at the end of "Veritas".
