It was great to see Shelby again, even if it is a brief cameo. When was the last episode he was in before this?

Next season, once things settle down (ie Lana wakes up and says her goodbyes), they should really have some light-hearted moments with Shelby again ;)

It really was! When I saw him I actually squealed "Shelby!" I startled my own dog with that! I petted her and said "see, there's Shelby!" She was less than enthused. (I kinda interrupted her nap.)

Was Shelby around during the Bizarro stuff. I don't remember him being (a-ha! So that's where Shelby was! Bizarro knew Shelby could 'ID' him and so he sent him away to doggie day care or something to make sure no one found out!) around when Bizarro was.
But Shelby is smart. If he was there, I'm sure he would have barked. The Shelby-Bark TM Sure to let you know when an alien invader is in your home or barn!
